Our Lodge is situated on a hill overlooking the world known Akagera National Park and Lake Ihema. On clear days you can overlook the lake all the way to Tanzania and the park entrance is just a 10 minute drive way. All our units are stand-alone 0n the property surrounded by bushland to guarantee you a maximum of privacy and furnish you with an undisturbed view of the park and lake. The property furthermore provides a big private and secured parking. For some exercise after a long day on safari, the lodge has a basketball/ beach volleyball field and also a beautiful pool overlooking the stunning lake. Partly run by solar power, we focus on sustainability and encourage reusable materials. Furthermore our on-site restaurant provides you with local and international dishes, selected by our Executive Chef. Lake View King Room
Each of our units has a special character, with an extra large terrace, a maisonette lounge or outside bathrooms. We ensure you have a rustic and close to nature bush experience without lacking any comfort.
Lake View Luxury Tent
There is nothing that gives you the Safari feeling more than a luxury safari tent. Designed with an en suite bathroom and a lot of space for 2 people, you can feel the wind at night and listen out for the lions roaring in the park.
Lake View Family Unit
For a family or a group of friends, our biggest unit can accommodate up to 6 people on a king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed, and an extra-large bunk bed. The unit features 1 bathroom, mosquito nets, free Wi-Fi access, and a patio.
DINE UNDER THE STARS
Dine in our open air restaurant and enjoy international cuisine and traditional African dishes. The dining space includes a large, outdoor patio with thatched roof-shaded tables for those who wish to enjoy an open air meal during the day, or delight in a starry dinner under the night sky.

Nature Walk
Join our experienced staff for a journey by foot along the southern most edge of Akagera National Park. Learn about the history of the area, the native plants and animals and meet the community members engaged in bee keeping, making handicrafts and farming. This two hour walk is a great way to explore everyday life in Rwanda’s Eastern Province, and the views will take your breath away. Cost: $30 per person (min. 2 people) Duration: 2 hours
